Jerrara Creek canyon is one of the best local canyoning trips. It features jaw-dropping scenery, lots of water, heaps of abseils, and plenty of exercise! The canyon is comfortably doable from about early November mid May, depending on what the weather has been like. Trips further into winter are definitely possible, but you will be very cold, and will need a small, fast group equipped with thick wetsuits.
