We run regular caving trips at many locations outside Canberra and have weekly SRT sessions to learn rope skills. Membership lets you come on our trips and join in at SRT. See our facebook page for up-to-date info on the next trip.

Yarrangobilly

September 28 - 29, 2019

A mix of pretty and sporty caves in the Snowy Mountains. This is a beginner friendly trip.

October 5 - 7, 2019

We’ll be heading up to Cooleman plains, and might do some caving at Yagby too. This is a beginner friendly trip.

Argyle Hole

October 19, 2019 $15

This is an advanced SRT trip in Bungonia. Lots of abseiling, prusiking and rebelays. There is also a nice squeeze at the start. You need to have been to multiple SRT sessions and be confident with rebelays and change-overs to come on this trip. read more

Jenolan

March 22 - 24, 2019 $45

Jenolan has long been one of NUCC’s favourite caving locations, as it has a wonderful range of varied caves with plenty to see in them. Plus, it has the added bonus of a caver’s cottage with all sorts of useful bits and pieces, like a microwave for the two-minute noodles. read more

Cooleman (Australia Day Long Weekend)

January 25 - 28, 2019 $35

We met up with ROC and had a great 3 days of caving over the Australia day long weekend. We stayed at Magpie flat on the first night near Yarrangobilly and then went on to the Blue Waterholes campground at Cooleman plains. read more
