Here is our trip list for the next couple of months. While we’ll do our best to make sure that all the trips and activities we have planned go ahead, please be mindful that we’re still dealing with the aftermath of the fires and COVID. So trip locations and dates might change at short notice- but we’ll keep you informed of any changes!
11th July: Drum Cave Bungonia (must be able to do a 50m pitch with rebelays)
18-19th July: Bungonia overnighter (mix of caves to suit everyone’s abilities)
25th July: Long Gully Canyon (experienced abseilers only, limit 8 people)
25th July: Kayaking and cleaning trip at Tuggeranong Lake with ANUMC- Jessica Spargo from ANUMC is the trip organiser for NUCC too
29th July: Market Day (there’s a high probability this will be online)
1st August: Wee Jasper or Mount Fairy beginner’s trip (depending on what’s open)
8th August: Bungonia horizontal trip (will suit beginners, but we may tackle different caves depending on the group’s experience)
22-23rd August: Overnighter further afield (Buchan, Yagby, Jenolan, Timor depending on what’s open)
29-20th August: Possible post-fire working bee and caving at Jaunter
