Wondering what to do with yourself once the exams are over? Start the Uni break off with a trip to Jenolan caves on the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd June! Jenolan’s caves are rightly famous the world over, and the wild caves are even better than the showcaves, with things like orange cave worms, underground waterways, and plenty of beautiful cave formations. Jenolan also comes with a caver’s cottage, so rather than having to camp, we get to enjoy a fireplace, fridge, stove, shower, flush toilets and bunk beds. We’ll depart Canberra for Jenolan (meeting at the usual spot outside ANU Sport) at 5pm on Friday, and it takes about 3-3.5h to get to Jenolan.

For the trip, you will need to bring:

The club will provide cave packs, helmets, headtorches, and all the other usual caving equipment. There may be some SRT, but most of the caves are horizontal, so it will be optional
